How is your 2011 going so far? There were a lot of expectations for a new year, a clean state and a fresh start after about 3 less than stellar years.
For us at Caribaltes Consulting, LLC and The Best of Jacksonville, things are pretty darn good. We have added a few new clients. We now represent a fantastic catering restarurant that caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner for business meetings and private functions. We also have added a cost reduction specialist for businesses who are looking to save money in areas that they may not know they could. Our specialist renegotiates contracts with vendors are finds new vendors for things like shipping, equipment leasing or even staffing. All in all there are about 40 different areas that could just be waiting for some cost reductions.
As I type this, I am waiting for another potential new client who has proprietary software that a company’s accounting department can load into their computers and it will analyze their sales reps productivity by gross margins, profits, etc.
This has all happened within just the first 2 weeks of 2011. If things keep going like this, we will be golden!
